Terms, in plain words
Last updated October 6, 2026. By using Beast you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
What Beast is
- Beast is a school assistant you text. It reads the class sources you connect (Canvas, Ed, Google Calendar) and helps you keep track of what's due.
- It's an early, invite-only test run by one student. It's free during the test. Features can change, break or go away.
Using it
- You need to be invited, and you use your own phone number.
- Only connect accounts that are yours. You're responsible for the tokens and access you give Beast, and you can remove them anytime.
- Don't use Beast to cheat, harass anyone, break your school's rules or the law, or try to get at other people's data or break the service.
- Beast can pause or remove an account that misuses it, and limits how many messages each person can send a day.
Check the important stuff
- Beast is an AI and can be wrong or late: a missed assignment, a wrong date, an out-of-date post. Canvas, your syllabus and your instructors are always the source of truth, and you're responsible for your own coursework and deadlines.
- Beast is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent the law allows, Beast and the person running it aren't liable for missed deadlines, grades, or anything else that comes from relying on it.
Your stuff
- Your data stays yours. The privacy policy says what Beast stores and how to export or delete it.
- You can stop anytime: text delete my data, or use Preferences → Delete account on the website.
Changes
- These terms can change as Beast grows. If something important changes, Beast will tell you before it applies.
